About Lanett

Tucson's Buyer's Agent — By Choice, Not By Default.

Eight-plus years ago I made a decision most agents don't: I stopped taking listings entirely. Here's why that still matters to every buyer I work with today.

Lanett Wilmshurst, Tucson buyer's agent

My story

I started in real estate the way most agents do — representing both buyers and sellers. It didn't take long to see the conflict built into that model: when you're paid to sell a house, "sell it" quietly outranks "tell the buyer the truth about it."

So I restructured my entire practice around one rule: I represent buyers only. No listings, no dual agency, no split loyalties. Every neighborhood insight, every red flag I point out during a showing, and every number I bring to the negotiating table exists to protect one person — the buyer sitting across from me.

Since then I've helped Tucson-area buyers — from first-timers to out-of-state families relocating without ever having seen the home in person — navigate the market with someone who is contractually and practically on their side alone.
